What Kind of Post-Procedure Care is Required?
Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure for at least a week post-treatment. Makeup can be reapplied 24 hours after and it is recommended to not use any aggressive skincare. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to prevent not only skin cancer, but minimize wrinkles and slow the aging process. Results last up to a full year and can last longer with proper at home skincare.
