The UltraClear™ laser is extremely versatile; using its six diverse settings it can be used on all skin types for various applications. Our highly trained providers will work with you to decide what setting of the UltraClear™ laser is best suited for you. Firming, smoothing, and balancing discoloration – UltraClear™ is capable of it all. It firms and smooths the skin while also eliminating damaged outer layers of cells to reveal clear, undamaged skin. It even treats discoloration, fine wrinkles and scars with less downtime than most resurfacing lasers.
If you want to quickly smooth out your skin with a more radiant complexion but get back to work as soon as possible, the 3DMIRACL may be your best option. The 3DMIRACL™ is a superficial laser treatment that is almost a “lunchtime” type of treatment. The treatment is performed without anesthesia, and the entire face can typically be treated in 10 minutes or less. After the treatment, your skin will be pink for a day or 2, but makeup can be applied on the day of treatment or the following day. The 3DMIRACL™ treatment produces a healthy skin “glow” while helping to reduce fine wrinkles and lines, skin discoloration, and to improve overall skin texture. The ideal candidates for 3DMIRACL™’ treatments are younger patients or those with mild to moderate sun damage and/or aging changes who would like to effectively improve the appearance of their skin with minimal discomfort, downtime, or recovery.

What to expect during the treatment process?
Prior to your treatment you will come in for a comprehensive consultation from one of our cosmetic providers. If UltraClear™ becomes part of your treatment plan, you may need to pretreat your skin with a hydroquinone cream to prepare your skin for the procedure, but this is not always required.
If the Behr Laser team is using a lower setting of the UltraClear™ you may not even need a topical numbing cream but with the deeper settings a nerve block may be recommended to ease discomfort. The treatment itself lasts between 10-90 minutes depending on the treatment area and setting. We recommend a series of treatments for the UltraClear™ laser for best results, but patients can see results typically after the first treatment alone.
UltraClear Recovery and Results
Your downtime after the treatment depends on how aggressive the treatment was. With the 3Dmiracle setting you will notice some slight redness and swelling following treatment for one to three days at the most. It is called the “lunchtime laser” due to the low downtime and the ability to return to work and reapply makeup. Whereas the higher intensity settings can have a downtime of three to ten days at the most. Each treatment will be customized to fit into your schedule and goals in mind. Results are visible within a week and will continue to improve over time as your skin produces new collagen and elastin. The results are long-lasting, and you can expect to enjoy revitalized skin for a year or longer based on your setting.
